Rodrigo M. do Lago, MD, FACC,is a specialist in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology whose primary interests include the management of patients with advanced coronary andstructural heart disease. Dr. do Lago completed his cardiology training at Cleveland Clinic in Florida and at Massachusetts General Hospital/HarvardMedical School. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovasculardiseases, and interventional cardiology and is a Fellow of the American Collegeof Cardiology. He has also been involved as the main investigator orco-investigator in several landmark, large-scale clinical trials that changedthe way that coronary artery disease and structural heart disease are currentlytreated. Dr. do Lago is widely published and has authored and coauthorednumerous original scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters. He has astrong commitment to effective health care delivery and successful individual patient care.Â
