Scapper p must be the owner . Because he owns national metals to . These guys are straight burns . I took 45 pounds of aluminum wire to national metals because they claimed they we're paying 70cents a pound . I called all scrap yards that morning . Earth day was paying 30cents a pound . When I got to national . The owner of Earth day was there . And I told the guy at national that the guy standing right there from Earth day offered 30 cents a pound . He then told me it was same owner . . The owner left . And the worker at national paid me for 22 pounds . After I looked at receipt and told him I'm pretty sure there was 45 pounds . Because I have my scale at home . He got mad and asked if I wanted it wieghed again . I said yes and it came out to 45 pounds . He did pay me the difference . But was rude . And told me to get out of there . So I left and stopped by Earth day to compliance to owner . He told my in a rude way . Well he fixed the problem didn't he . Again getting mad at me . Don't go either place they burn you .

These people are dishonest! The need to be checked out! Bring in cast iron and they give you prices for tin! Usually a water heaters brings $15-$20 per unit because of weight and this morning I took in two and was given $7.20. A couple months ago I brought a 180lb cast iron furnace and was given $3.65. I'm sure they don't do this to everyone but, they are scamming and this needs to be stopped!

I thought Acme was bad! But earth day gives them competition for the worsr. No one knows what they're doing, they're rude, bald guy was yelling at everyone and got mad at me because I asked why he was calling my stripped copper wire #2 copper and he told me I could take it back if I didn't like it, so I did and went down road to national metal and they gave me BS copper and paid .05 more then any other yard was quoting. They damaged my tail gate and were just jerks about it, right after I leave and have a flat, tire shop found nail and piece of metal. Stay away beware they don't know anything. Go to National Metals for a good place they're great.
